Clinical Update of Disease Modifying Therapies for the Management of Parkinson’s Disease

Program Overview

This CME program is derived from content presented at the Florida Society of Neurology 2019 held in Orlando, Florida on September 13, 2019. The expert faculty will provide an overview of current and emerging therapies for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. This includes an a review of proper patient screenings and novel therapeutic approaches. The faculty will also discuss the safety and efficacy data of modifying therapies for the treatment of PD. The information provided by the expert faculty will enable healthcare providers to optimally treat and manage their patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Target Audience

Neurologists, primary care physicians, PAs, NPs, and other healthcare providers involved in the management of patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Learning Objectives

  1. Review the science of Parkinson’s disease, as well as proper patient screening and novel therapeutic approaches.
  2.  Analyze safety and efficacy data of disease modifying therapies for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
