Program Overview
This CME/CNE activity will review advances in the utilization of innovative sciences in the improvement of the quality of life in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) as presented at the Florida State Neurology (FSN) 2018 meeting in Orlando, Florida. The expert faculty will analyze evidence-based data on the current science and emerging therapeutics for the improvement in lifestyle for patients with PD. The faculty will also discuss the pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease, as well as emerging therapeutic options for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Upon completion of this activity, learners will gain knowledge on how to implement emerging therapeutics of Parkinson’s disease to treat patients and ultimately improve patient lifestyle and outcomes.
Target Audience
Neurologists, primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with Parkinson’s disease.

1. Understand, the pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease including the motor and non-motor symptoms to more effectively manage patients.
2. Analyze clinical trial data of emerging therapeutic options for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and its associated symptoms
