Program Overview

This Advances in Medicine program is designed to be a comprehensive update course for all general practice physicians. This activity will provide recent updates in the fields of neurology, rheumatology, the role of immunotherapies in oncology and wellness/brain health by expert faculty. Each update will focus on various hot topics and ensure that the healthcare team is educated on how to best treat and refer their patients in these therapeutic areas. This CME activity will be beneficial to all healthcare providers.

Learning Objectives

  1. Analyze the most recent data for current and emerging therapeutics for the management of neurological diseases
  2. Develop optimal, tailored treatment strategies for the long-term management of patients with neurological diseases using a team-based approach
  3. Apply recent science concerning emerged and emerging therapeutic agents for the treatment of rheumatic diseases in clinical practice
  4. Optimally manage patients with rheumatic diseases, including adverse events, to improve outcomes and quality of life
  5. Recognize the role of immunotherapies in effectively treating patients with oncologic diseases
  6. Utilize a personalized medicine approach when creating treatment and management plans for oncology patients
  7. Apply non pharmacological interventions in clinical practice to improve wellness of patients
  8. Provide effective education regarding strategies to advance brain health to improve patient outcomes
