CME/CNE Dinner Symposium at the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology 2019
Overview
This CME/CNE dinner symposium during the Congress of Clinical Rheumatology 2019, moderated by Dr. Alan L. Epstein, will provide clinicians with an update regarding the treatment and management of osteoporosis. This includes an overview of osteoporosis in rheumatic diseases and the clinical relevance of current and emerging therapeutics in the osteoporosis treatment landscape. The faculty will discuss the role of patient education and diet in improving patient care and quality of life. Best practices for engaging the healthcare team to optimally treat and manage patient with osteoporosis will be reviewed through an interactive, interprofessional panel format.
Target Audience
Rheumatologists, physicians, internists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers that are involved in the management of osteoporosis.
